What dog training does Red Dog offer in Boston?
Red Dog Boston runs three training programs: Day School, a trainer-led day of learning and play, Stay & Train, an overnight program with daily one-on-one sessions, and Puppy Play Care, structured socialization for young puppies. All three run out of the Boston location, so training happens alongside the daycare and boarding your dog already knows.
What is Day School?
Day School is a structured, trainer-led day where your dog actually works, guided activities, small-group learning, obedience and manners, with positive reinforcement built into every hour instead of one isolated class. It runs Tuesday through Thursday, 10am to 4pm, with drop-off from 8 to 9:30 and pickup from 4 to 5:30. Reservations close the Sunday before each week.
What is Stay & Train?
Stay & Train is Red Dog’s immersive board and train. Your dog stays overnight and works with a trainer in two hands-on 30-minute sessions a day, building habits through steady daily reps. It runs on weekdays and comes in 5-day and 10-day packages, or a la carte sessions. There are Puppy, Solo, and Social tiers, and a consultation comes first.
Do you offer puppy training in Boston?
Yes, two ways. Puppy Play Care takes puppies from 12 weeks to 5 months for a full day of supervised group play, potty walks, naps, and one-on-one time with a puppy specialist, so young dogs learn how to be around other dogs and people. For faster progress, Puppy Stay & Train takes puppies 5 months and younger for overnight training.
When should my puppy start?
As soon as they are eligible, which for Puppy Play Care is 12 weeks. The socialization window is widest in a puppy’s first few months, and a structured setting during that stretch builds the confidence and manners that make everything later easier. Waiting until problems show up is the harder road.
Which program is right for my dog?
Day School suits dogs who come during the week and learn best in small groups. Stay & Train suits owners who want faster, concentrated progress and are comfortable with an overnight stay.
